Pilates in Fort Collins, Colorado & Horsetooth Reservoir
Pilates is a unique form of exercise developed over 90 years ago by Joseph Pilates used to strengthen the body’s deep core and develop the mind/body connection. Pilates is best done as a full system utilizing both equipment based classes as well as the mat classes. The equipment was designed to support the body through movement while also giving resistance to strengthen the body. This system helps teach the body some important concepts used during the matwork series. This studio offers a full system of reformer/chair classes, tower classes, and mat classes.
Heidi’s Pilates studio is located just north of Inlet Bay on Horsetooth Reservoir, west of Fort Collins, CO.
This well-equipped studio features Equipment classes as well as Mat classes. Masks are required for in-person instruction and live, remote instruction is available.
To honor the vision and lineage of Joseph Pilates by teaching the classical repertoire and thereby freeing students from the painful habits in their bodies.
To recognize that every student is unique and to fine-tune their instruction so as to optimize their learning experience.
To create a fun yet challenging environment for the student and empower them with the roadmap to their body to allow pain free movement.
To willingly and expertly refer clients in pain to providers of other modalities when necessary.
Heidi has a life-long love of exercise and has been sharing her knowledge and insight, through teaching, for over 20 years. She received her Pilates certification in 2005 from the prestigious and rigorous Pilates Center of Boulder. Heidi enjoys working with all body types, fitness levels and ages, especially with postpartum clients and those experiencing issues from low back pain. She is a military veteran and the mother of two very active boys.
